I stayed there for one night in December. When checking in the front desk agent was amazing and so accommodating and helpful. I was traveling with an emotional support animal and she was amazing with that. The stay was amazing the room was perfect. I just booked for 3 nights in February and I can't wait to check back in. This place felt like home.

Rooms need updating, probably not updated since built 10 years ago, walls are dirty, shower floor was not scrubbed out well and floor looked dirty as well as the tracks for shower. Did not use after seeing how dirty shower looked. The sheets were placed on the bed inside out and mattress pad had a hole in the corner. bathroom fan was filthy and needs a good cleaning, the light in the shower looked like the ceiling had a leak. I would not stay here again unless it was updated and renewed. Location was good for a Family event that’s about it…

We've stayed at the hotel five times. In October, our family had two rooms for three nights. Lisa, at the front desk greeted us warmly when we arrived. The hand-written note signed by Jon was a nice touch! The housekeeping staff is friendly and accommodating. And, the free breakfast is a money-saver! As for location, although we spent a lot of time in the North Hills, it's a fast trip to downtown Pittsburgh. We highly recommend this Home2 Suites.

Like others said the rooms were very old. The cleanliness of the hotel was lacking for me- particularly in the bathroom where the walls, corners, and shower floor had not been cleaned in what looked like quite a while or were perhaps stained beyond repair. The hotel would have been OK for a rate of $50-70 per night but the actual rate was about $200 a night which I would not pay again for this hotel. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful though.
