Home ‘81 is a beautiful boutique hotel hidden behind the Imperial World Shopping Mall on a typical Thai alleyway. If you are looking for good value but also crave that quality touch then this is the hotel for you. Everything seems brand new and extremely well kept and cared for, from the lounge area with it’s floor cushions to its rooms with their massive king size beds, it was all so perfect I can’t believe how lucky I was to have found this place. They have a no shoes upstairs policy but the place is so clean that I think that they should make it a no shoes inside full stop policy instead. Thank you Ann and Christian for all of your help in making sure my stay in Thailand was a comfortable one and for opening the doors to your beautiful hotel to me, whenever I come back to Bangkok this is the place where I want to stay. It’s called Home ‘81 and you and the wonderful staff make it feel just like that, a home away from home. ขอขอบคุณ

Out of the four places I stayed at in Bangkok this was my favourite! If you like to stay in a quiet and peaceful guesthouse with friendly people in a local neighbourhood that's definitely the one!
