Spent 4 night at Homewood Suites with friends after returning from Dubai. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were very spacious and clean. I stayed in a one bedroom suite which was absolutely great. The breakfast was really good which shocked us all because we were not expecting much but the offering was quite good. I was shocked by how quite the rooms were despite planes flying over frequently. Lots of parking space and the location is very close to all the shopping malls and restaurants. In our final night we barbecued steaks by the pool. I would recommend this hotel because it’s great.

I was very pleased with everything about this property. Nice staff, good big clean rooms close to airport with a great evening social and nice complimentary breakfast. I will return next time I need to fly out of MIA.

The entire hotel needs to be cleaned, updated and refreshed. The inside of the lobby is very dark and hard to see. The pool hasn't been maintained and doesn't look inviting. Also, you need a car to be able to visit restaurants, although fast food options are near by.

Outdated and unclean. I rented a two bedroom two bath suite. It was very dirty and missing a TV in the living room. When I called the front desk to inquire, they lied and said there wasn't supposed to be a TV in the room. This even though there was a TV cable box present and the description photos ckealy show a TV in the living room. When I complained to the front desk the next morning, they apologized and ignored my complaint.

Overall not a bad hotel. It is directly under the RW12 approach path into MIA, so expect a moderate amount of aircraft noise during the busy arrival times. Suite rooms are decent with kitchenette. Shower is very dated. Biggest negatives lie with the staff and their behavior. Housekeeping uses the bare door latch to keep the room doors from closing, so there is a loud thud every time they allow the door to slam closed. There is a large amount of feral cats around, mainly due to the fact that the staff routinely puts small bowls of food outside the exits so the cats stay around to eat their goodies.
