I took my mom for her birthday and we absolutely LOVED it. The room was clean, fully stocked with dishes, breakfast was fresh & delicious, the room overlooked the river, beautifully decorated for Christmas, the hotel has this warm Rustic feel, EVERYONE on the Staff was very friendly, even with construction going we never heard it at all. This is a dog friendly hotel, so there were quite a bit of them in which I could do without. I would prefer the dogs to be in one area of the hotel, not everywhere. I was surprised when I got my bill and there was an additional $35 a day guest charge to the daily rate. I'm not sure what that's about??? Valet parking is expensive at $45 a day especially when we parked our car Friday and didn't touch it until we left Sunday, however it benefited us not having to drive all over trying to find parking (which is limited on River St) then continuously feed a Parking Meter. The hotel is the perfect location for walking to everything downtown along River St, plus the views are gorgeous. It was one of the best stays I've ever had with a very welcoming vibe. We really enjoyed ourselves.

The staff at this hotel was really friendly. They were kind enough to recommend nearby places to eat and were so nice to us throughout our stay. The room was okay but could have been nicer since it was a suite that had a river view. However the river-view was rather small from our room and you have to stand at an angle to get a decent view of it. It is located conveniently close to where the ferry goes across the river to the convention center. The hotel has no self-parking which I was not a fan of. They require you to use valet parking if you want to park at the hotel and there is no nearby parking otherwise. Overall, we had a good trip and the staff made up for where the hotel was slightly lacking.

We are big fans of this hotel, especially its riverfront balcony suites. Friendly staff who went out of their way to help us today when our car had a flat tire - greatly appreciated. The early morning and evening views of the river just can't be beat. Easy walking distance to everything we need. We never used the car the entire time we were there. This is our consistent choice of hotels in Savannah. Can't wait to visit again next month.

Too noisy. If you’re a light sleeper look elsewhere. This hotel has construction going on around for 6 days a week. There was a metal plate in the Main Street one side of hotel that clangs all night as cars and trucks run over it. Add this to doors of the rooms are so strongly sprung, they slam HARD every time you close the door. Guests are not expected to remember this every time but the cleaning staff will apparently let those doors slam over, and over, and over again. I stayed a while, they even moved my room to a quieter one, but between the doors and the beeping of construction vehicles outside in the morning it became intolerable. The valet parking guys were great. The bar is nice but the food too basic. The breakfast is below average. Walk 10 minutes and pay for some real food.

Watch your rates booked through hilton at $300 a nite and you can get on webebsites for $150 or less. Booked a river view did not get, booked a balcony did not get. Went down stairs to get other room and it took two days The room I was in had nasty black stains on drapes. Walked on carpet with white socks and they turned black quickly on the bottom. The bathroom has black mold on ceiling and the metal edge molding was rusted out. The room that I paid for was actually perfect but took 2 days to get. Management was oblivious to my issues, this is a great location, has a fun roof bar, with swimming pool and a dart and corn hole gsmes. Breakfast is good and the people were friendly. The front desk staff and management need to learn to listen. As. I left my first room the maintenance man came to spray Kilz on the ceiling and paint rusty bathroom molding. The manager said they ordered new drapes. The first room was filthy.would not stay there for any price!
