Rooms had nice furniture and were very clean with plates, bowls and glasses. I had to ask if they had pots and pans and it was brought to me. I also had to ask for shampoo and conditioner since there was only soap. I had expected more given this was the Hilton. During check in Front desk needs to ask if pots and pans are needed. I have no idea if and when they will be cleaning my room. I am staying here for at least a week.

Our experience at the establishment was a profound disappointment. We arrived around 4:30 - 5 pm, patiently waited for approximately 10 minutes, during which we had to resort to calling the front desk. After several unanswered rings, just as we relinquished hope and ended the call, the attendant finally emerged. This sequence of events left us exasperated. Inquiring about the staffing situation, we were informed that the lone attendant was manning the floor. It dawned on us that his absence could be attributed to his attention being diverted towards other guests in the hotel. Proceeding upstairs to unwind and prepare for our day, we were met with an array of issues - an alarming lack of cleanliness and a sink that defiantly refused to drain. We meticulously documented these shortcomings with photographs before venturing out. Throughout the day, our children and we exchanged thoughts on the state of the hotel, and a unanimous decision was reached: we would not risk having breakfast there. If the room exhibited such neglect, we could not fathom the hygiene standards upheld in the kitchen. Upon returning after midnight, we found no staff present to address our concerns. Time constraints the next morning meant we could only manage to gather our belongings before descending. With the only available attendant, a female, we lodged our grievances. She offered the option of jotting down our complaint, promising to convey it to the manager. Pressing further, we requested to speak directly with the manager, Mr. Faed Surji, who was purportedly tucked away in the back room. Upon his appearance, we relayed the intricate details of our disheartening encounter. In response, the manager appeared dismissive and maintained that the room had been clean prior to our occupancy. This stance insinuated that any suggestion of the room's unkempt state was met with skepticism, as if the fault lay solely with us. Despite presenting visual evidence and highlighting the sink issue, he obstinately clung to his assertion, repeating it not once, but twice more. He went on to suggest that had we voiced our concerns earlier, corrective measures would have been taken. We emphasized the lack of an attendant's availability earlier, which rendered this course of action impossible. The manager's refrain of the room's pristine condition before our arrival seemed to imply that our inability to address the issues promptly invalidated our rights to complaint. In response, we posed the question - was our failure to proactively contact the front desk meant to absolve them of responsibility? The manager reiterated that, had we communicated the problems, a room switch would have been arranged. However, we iterated that this avenue was closed due to the absence of any staff to whom we could report the issues. This disheartening exchange culminated in my departure from the establishment after checking out, only to re-enter momentarily to secure the manager's full name, last name, and direct phone number, marking the final chapter of this deeply frustrating ordeal.
