This hostel was phenomenal! Min S. provided excellent service, offering us many recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. The guest house is located less than 10 minutes walking from many attractions in Hongdae making it a very convenient spot to stay. The free breakfast each morning was so yummy and the accommodations were very clean. This hostel is definitely quiet, but it is a relaxing stop between other bustling locations.

We really enjoyed our stay! The owner was so pleasant and helpful. The chicken and rice porridge that they offered for breakfast was actually the best thing I ate in Korea. I will dream about it. The location was also very good.

The guesthouse is located in the best area of Seoul, by far. Hongdae has the best bars, coffee shops and close to buses and trains that’ll take you to all attractions. Plus if you book bus tours like the DMZ one of the pickup stops is by Hongik University, less than 500m from the guesthouse. The guesthouse has a washing machine too which is a plus

Though most of people leave good reviews, I had really bad experience. The host upgraded the room(triple room with a shared bathroom) to a triple room with a bathroom. I was grateful for that. But other than that, the room was smelling because of poor maintenance of A/C. The lamp was full of dusts. Whenever I entered the room, the room was smelling. In the end, I found a big insect in the room and I had to move to another accommodation because I was disgusted. I got refunded for the rest of the days.
