Ideal location. Everything/everywhere is 15 minutes to 20 minutes walking distance. Avoid any public holidays, since everything is closed in the surroundings. The price is a bit high, maybe it is the location. 👍. Overall good experience.

Really, really bad "hostel"! Please, don't book this place. I had a decent 4 star hotel before that cost only 40more per night. Where to start? - Rooms are badly cleaned - There's a weird smell in the room - No maintenance whatsoever, floor broken, mould on the wall, curtains that are falling apart, ... mould in the showers... the list is endless - I even had a cockroach in my room, got little help from reception and they blamed me because the window was open (eventhough the cleaning lady did it) - I asked for an extra towel, only got it by insisting and got commented it was 1 per person. Eventhough I paid a room the same price a for 2 people. Later, I hid the towel, the cleaning lady went in my closet and took it out !!! Crazy !! - Noisy rooms, bad noisy airco, ... - Staff really uninterested, they don't care. - I can go on... Conclusion: Do not book if you want a nice, quiet, clean, welcoming Hotel. Barcelona has plenty alternatives.

Wouldn’t recommend this hostel to anyone. We had two rooms on the first floor. The one facing the street was so loud all night with people walking home from the clubs and stopping on the corner to talk, and the heavy traffic flow and construction out the window. In that room we also found out when we finally came back to sleep that there was blood on the pillow under the pillow case and we brought it to the front desk and the guy said he wouldn’t change it but gave an additional pillow case and told us to cover it up. The 2nd room was quiet as it looked into the ally way but seemed like they never fix anything. I told them the safe didn’t work when I put in the numbers and the response was pick numbers that do press in. There were also wallpaper ripped off the walls in patches. The mattresses felt super soft and it would be a shame to call those pillows what they gave us.

Rooms were fine for the price, modern, even if a little small. The shared bathroom was okay, but it really depends on the other guests, in what state they are left behind... people don't know how to act sometimes. During my stay, I was a little under the weather, and the staff was absolutely lovely! Best part about this place is how friendly and ready to help everybody was including the cleaning lady, who recommended me a place to eat chicken soup at, which surely cured me. I guess at the same price you can probably find better places, but the location was good and simply for the friendliness and helpfulness of everybody I'm leaving this review.
