BE AWARE….all of the 1 star reviews for this place are very accurate, the employees act & seem like ex-cons. They have no ppl skills & seem to be raised by animals. I would not advise any women stay here that’s for sure. I was shown my bed & that was enough for me to drop this place all together. I know it’s cheap, but it’s just not worth the headache.

I almost stayed there for four nights. What can I say, I think they are improving slowly and have started reading our comments and complaints. The rooms smell very bad, you can feel the dirt, the beds are very bad for sleeping. With a little effort, this hostel would be perfect. I think they are slowly realizing it too. I was fine, I respected everything they told me and I had no problems with them. I believe in them that they will improve, that's why they get three stars from me. I will come back again for the night.

It is not a five star hostel but you can find marvelous people full of histories. The best place if you want to save some money for your trip.

Stay away from this refugee camp. This is the worst dormitory I have ever used. Very dirty and unkept. The room is also smaller than the number of bunks/beds they put inside. Also, there's no window for ventilation and it was very stuffy and smelling throughout my stay. The owner would come often to spray the room with some air freshener but within few minutes the odour will emanate again due to lack of ventilation. I had to use nose mask even while sleeping. For the two nights I spent there I would stay out till late night and leave the room early in the morning to escape the mess of the over populated room. If you have asthma or you are allergic to odour or you don't want to get Covid,then stay far away from this refugee camp. Lastly the staffs are very rude and lack hospitality. They are just their for the money. When I complained at the reception about the state of the room and facility in general, the guy told me that all dormitory in Madrid are like that, that I was lucky to get theirs. That's obviously a lie because I have used other hostels and dormitory in Madrid before then.
