The hotel was a great stay for us. The room was spacious with a large washroom and clean. They had coffee and tea within the room which was very convenient. They even provided a fan which was really appreciated. The hotel is a stop or two away by tram from the Berlin TV tower and lots of stores and restaurants.

The location is great and the rooms are nicely spacious but the furniture has some issues and the service is terrible. Our mattress was broken on one side, so the mattress had a large indentation/dip on that side, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. When my partner addressed this at the reception, the receptionist started to laugh (?!) and said he could not do anything. That was a very unprofessional response and it is disappointing that the hotel refused to solve this issue by, for instance, giving us another room.

Excellent location! An old building very nicely remodeled. Its thick walls and windows make the rooms very quiet despite having the tram line across the street. We stayed 4 nights and never heard any noises from other rooms. Just be aware: they don't have a 24 hour reception, so make sure they have your contact information or let them know your arrival time so you can get a code for the key box.
