I’ve faced the worst experience in my life in this hotel when I was checking out. Where the room maid had accused me of stealing a towel. The point in this whole situation was that I’ve double checked the room before leaving and the 2 towels were there and when my partner and I left the room, a room maid went to check it . However, after 5 min approximately the room maid came down and told the receptionist that one towel was missing. I’ve got confused at the moment, because I was pretty sure that both towels were there. The room maid asked me to go upstairs to show me that it was not in the room, and when I arrived in the room there was only one towel. At this point i started thinking she was doing that on purpose to make pay for it as I was sure that both towels were there just few minutes ago.( I’ve left few stuffs behind because I didn’t have enough room in my backpack, why in the world I would steal a towel?). we went downstairs and she was insisting that 1 towel was missing and wanted to check my backpack. I’ve got very stressed and frustrated at the moment that i opened my backpack and through all my stuffs on the floor. when they saw what they made me do, the recipient tried to calm down the situation telling me that shouldn’t done that. Well …at the end they didn’t apologize for that. So, I really don’t recommend this place. But if you go, just make sure to record your room before leaving to not be accused of stealing anything.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a little dated but definitely usable. Perfect location. Amazing restaurant and coffee shop opposite

Thank you to the great staff for a wonderful stay at the Akabar Hotel. It was very clean, the room, bathroom and towels were cleaned every day, and the internet worked great in the room and throughout the facility. The hotel has a beautiful arabian style decor, is located in a quiet area, close to the center and the shop. The breakfasts were delicious, the waiters smiling and very polite, the maids hardworking, thorough and nice. Only spices were missing on the tables in the restaurant, although salt, after asking for it is embarrassing. I highly, highly, highly recommend this hotel. It deserves four stars and only has three.
