Hotel Ambassador was the perfect base for my partner and I as we explored Kathmandu. The rooms were extremely clean and modern. Just a 10 minute walk from Thamel and plenty of surrounding restaurants to try! The staff were very professional and helpful which was an added bonus. Included buffet breakfast also a fantastic start to the day! Plus you need to check out the rooftop bar, it’s got a great vibe, food, drinks and an amazing view of the city.

An excellent hotel with great rooms and fantastic mountain views. The staff are always eager to help. Food is excellent. However the most important is the location. Bang on the junction and on the roas, but very less noise. You cannot miss it.

If I could give zero star for this hotel I would have given zero for this worst hotel. Few months back we were on this cheap hotel , and lady in the front desk bit chubby ( I don’t know she was team lead or manager works usually during am) she has a zero knowledge about a customer service. We were in deluxe room and which had new slippers for costumers since we paid for a deluxe room we obviously thought that were for costumers but trust me these people will give those used dirty sleepers to the costumers from the regular rooms . That lady was very rude to us and asked for those slippers when we were checking out . We were shocked since we stayed there almost 15 days We paid more than Rs 100000 . However this lady showed very unprofessional behavior to us asking rs 20 slippers and we left those dirty slippers at front desk . We usually used to stay this hotel e time we visit nepal but never going back this place because of this cheap lady and the customer service they provide in this hotel😡. also the frame they hung on the wall fell to our bed and almost hit my baby, room is so dusty and water you will smell feels like it is directly coming from dirty bagmati river. I always wanted to post this review but i was bit busy and couldn’t do it before.
