This place was comfortable and clean, but after reading some of the amazing reviews from 3 or more years ago there are clearly some things that have changed. There is no breakfast included here. The lounge has a vending machine and coffee machine. That's it. However there are many excellent coffee shops within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Bathroom was clean and functional with toiletries. The room was extremely noisy due to the air conditioning clinking and grinding. Also we heard noise from the street at all hours. The queen bed was two twin mattresses pushed together. The hotel is close to the Archeological museum and we felt safe enough in the neighborhood. All in all, not a bad place to stay, but definitely not what we thought it would be.

Had the opportunity to stay here. Clean modern rooms that were spacious and more than adequate for the price. The staff were remarkably adept at pointing out all the great places to go how to do get there and providing context to the solo traveller. I would look to book here again if I was in the city.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Areos Hotel in Athens, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel offered great service, spacious rooms, and a convenient distance from the city center. One of the standout features of the Areos Hotel was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist. The staff members were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was providing local recommendations, arranging iron for my clothes, or simply allowed late checkout, they were always there to help. The rooms at the Areos Hotel were another highlight of my stay. They were incredibly spacious and tastefully decorated, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, and the amenities provided were of high quality. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of maintaining the cleanliness throughout my stay. The hotel's location was also a major plus. While it was not located in the heart of the city, it was conveniently situated within a fair distance from the center. This meant that I could easily explore all the attractions Athens had to offer, while still being able to retreat to a quieter and more peaceful environment at the end of the day. Overall, my experience at the Areos Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of great service, spacious rooms, and its favorable location made it a top-notch choice for my stay in Athens. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the city.
