We had a wonderful stay in the Hotel. Perfect location for discovering Florence, with easy access by foot to all the attractions. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I have not given the room 5 stars as we had a ground floor bedroom and unfortunately there was no chance to sleep late as the music from the breakfast room / foyer started at around 06:45 and this can be heard quite clearly in the room.

I booked this hotel based on positive tripadvisor reviews and I really wanted to like it, but left disappointed after staying for two nights. The Pros: Everyone in the hotel was very friendly, professional and helpful, especially people at the front desk. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning the rooms. Everything in the hotel appears to be clean as well. Breakfast was good. The Cons: We had a family room on the 1st floor. The biggest issue we had was the condensation in the bathroom. Every time the 3 of us finished showering, water literally drips from the walls and all over the counter. The fan is probably on timer as you can't turn on/off manually, but the fan is useless even when it's turned on. In addition, I've never been to a hotel that doesn't provide shampoo and body lotion. We brought our own but you probably would have to ask reception for these basics if you didn't. All in all, it was a okay stay for two nights.

Wonderful experience at this hotel. Immaculate facilities, all the necessary amenities, friendly and helpful staff. Check in and check out were very straightforward. The breakfast is included and is an extensive spread with sweet and savory items as well as coffee and juices. The location is a 10 minute walk to the city center / train station which makes it convenient but also less crowded and touristy. There is ongoing construction on an adjacent building which can be heard when sitting in the outdoor garden, but is not audible from inside the hotel.

Great hotel, welcomed by friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast! (best I've had in hotels in Italy). Do note that at the moment the nearby buildings are under construction. Ask staff to help for use airconditioning and inquire if you are very tall as the beds (as elsewhere in Italy) seem to be 1,90 long. I enjoyed this hotel the best from my citytrip in Italy.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Ariele, the staff was exceedingly gracious and helpful and housekeeping did an outstanding job with our room. Our room itself was spacious with high ceilings and a view of the interior garden. The area is a bit far from the main tourist sites but compensates by being quieter and still having access to some exceptional restaurants on Via Il Prato two blocks away.
