I loved my stay at the Hotel Asia Center of Japan. It was nice to have a quiet hotel and area to retreat to after a busy day in Tokyo shopping and sightseeing. The rooms we had were beautiful and while on the smaller side we expected it and we had no problem with just the two of us. The bathroom was small but efficient, clean and I loved the pressure and temperature of the water. The room was clean and spotless and have the option for the window to open was nice too for some fresh air. The humidifier was a great touch and the option to wash clothes was great so we didn’t have to pack much. We stayed 6 nights here and we liked it so much that when plans changed while in Sapporo on the second leg of our journey in Japan when I got sick, we returned here for our remaining three days.

Whilst the rooms at this hotel may be small, it has a homely feel to it. We liked that it wasn’t too big and you could open your window for fresh air. The free breakfast is extremely generous with lots to choose from. The location is great, with two subway stations less than 10 mins walk away. I loved staying in a quiet area in Tokyo and always recommend this hotel to friends who are visiting. We’ll certainly be back again!

Clean no-frills hotel located close to subway. Room was spotless, albeit on the smaller side but I think that’s standard. Shower was good temp and pressure. We were surprised how comfy the bed was - liked the firmer pillows. Enjoyed the daily complimentary buffet breakfast featuring Japanese fare. The staff’s English was serviceable enough. Free bottled water available in lobby mini-fridge for guests.

Room is very small, lighting very dim, window facing a block of flats with hardly any sunlight. The room is dark with a large grey wall. It is like sleeping in a coffin. The bathroom is incredibly small. All the toothbrushes etc are kept by the front desk. Apparently to reduce wastage. I think it is ploy to do less work. Garbage not emptied unless it fits in a small bin. Ideal for a rat infestation. As you enter the breakfast area you are greeted by two huge racks that for storing dirty dishes. Breakfast is mostly cold and cheap dishes. I don't think the place is owned by a Japanese company. Find a different hotel. The service here is terrible and rooms are terrible. Not worth your money.

Room is a bit small but they have 3 beds room for families. Location is great as 5 mins walk to subway station. There's a row of shop outside the hotel for dinner. Family Mart is 5 mins walk away. There's a lady staff from Singapore which is particularly helpful. Free breakfast for international travellers is definitely a plus point. Will consider to stay here with family next time in Japan.
