Stayed at Attica 21 for 4 nights with my partner. First room we were given smelt heavily of smoke and the safe was locked so we had a word with the woman behind the reception and she gave us another room without hesitation which was much better. The rooms are nothing special but still nice. The staff were always pleasant, helpful and on hand whenever we needed anything. The housekeeping was fantastic. The job they did on the room every day was top notch, clean room, fresh towels, fresh water etc. They always worked round us being in and out of the room. The location is one of the best parts about staying here. Being a stones throw from the beach, having shops, restaurants, cafes, a shopping centre all quite local was brilliant. Takes less than half an hour to get into the centre of Barcelona on the metro, great location. One of the only downsides is that breakfast wasn’t that good, we came one day and I’m glad we didn’t pay for the whole trip. Plenty of choice, but ingredients tasted a bit cheap and we came away a little unfulfilled. I would recommend staying here though for sure!

Hotel room was stunning and the beach was only a 2 minute walk away. Easy access into the city. The only little thing to note is the breakfast wasn’t great, however there is something for everyone

Boring is the word that pops up when I think about this hotel. Nothing pops up. Grey, brown. Staff is polite but not enthusiast, rooms are clear but, well, boring. It's about 20-25 minutes (walk, metro L4) to placa de catalunya. The area is full of 5 floor apartments & office building (boring as well). At least there are some bars (and the local Hells Angels Chapter) and restaurants which are nice and cheap. There's a bakery (Granier) 150m from the hotel (like 2 coffees, 4 croissants for 6€50), so don't bother paying 17€ per person for the breakfast in the hotel.

Its not a 4 star hotel this is for sure , the wifi was so terrible this issue should be fix ASAP! tourist who visits your hotel relays on your wifi but i was completely terrible. The room tv was left from 2010 or something when you dont have good Internet at least have a good tv connected to a YouTube or Netflix. The bathroom need to be renovated 100% looks old compared to the room. Its a good location but i wouldn't recommend to stay here im sure there is other hotels better near by. Only giving 2 star because the cleaning team was good.

Around 30 minutes from Las Ramblas, 10 mins walk from Poblenou Ramblas, which has many restaurants, 1 min from bus, and 6 mins from nearest metro so no problems getting around. Buy a T-Casual 10 journey ticket which is very reasonably priced. It was always nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Gothic Quarter and return to this quieter end of town, which has several very reasonably priced restaurants a stones throw away. For those who like shopping there's always Diagonal Mar shopping centre around 10 mins walk away. Beaches here are virtually free of hawkers, which was a big bonus. Rooftop pool was a little small but refreshing when hot. Breakfast very good but never changed. Overall I'd recommend this place.
