Stayed over in Calgary one night while visiting family and he put us up in this hotel on his company account. You can tell it was an older hotel that underwent a complete transformation. But in saying that it was an incredible transformation. This place looks fantastic. The lobby was huge and spacious with a restaurant, a sports pub and a comedy lounge. The staff was great and our room was huge. As for location its pretty good. you can get anywhere in Calgary in a decent time on the freeway. would definitely stay again.

Stopped by for the buffet lunch on Friday and discovered they have a seniors discount as both of us are retired. While the variety isn't huge, there's a pretty good offering with good quality food. I enjoyed the salmon, roast beef, prime rib slices in thermidor sauce, and potato bacon soup. Ambience is quiet and pleasant. Service was good. A very good value.

I booked Executive Room, King Bed, Executive Level (Element). Just giving my honest feedback. Room was normal just like a regular room. Pool/ hot tub closed for season. The only perk was access to the lounge which had basic amenities, small kitchen with water/ juice and coffee. Breakfast was good which was included. But nothing special. Paid more for stay than actual worth.
