Location gets a 4 star because it is close to the airport. With that being said...one has to compromise on the view. If you are looking for a one nighter between flights, then yes. If you are looking for a holiday destination stay with a view, then it's a big no. Dinner was really tasty if you appreciate Indian cuisine ONLY. Do not ask for a sunny-side-up egg at breakfast. I believe the capability is omellete's and over-well done eggs. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet...but with all that space the couches and "living room" area goes to wast. It would have been nice to be able to lie in bed and watch TV, other than sit on the paper thin lounge suite. A lot can be said about the friendly staff. Angel, the lady at the front desk, was super welcoming and helpful, as well as all the restaurant staff. Bonus points there.

‘Free airport transfer’ tried to charge us 50,000 shilling (taxi costs 5,000…) without ever telling us. Lucky I noticed just before i tapped my card or they would have gotten away with it. Had to try 3 card machines to get one that worked. Receipt didnt have ink they tried to charge me again saying it didn’t go through and i showed them my bank account had already been charged!! All this to stay 5 hours

The reception could be more organized. When we checked out between 7:30 to 8:00 AM on January 3, 2024, the staff seemed inattentive. Papers were scattered around the area, and some staff members were sitting instead of standing to attend to customers, while others were chatting amongst themselves.

Front desk staff just couldn’t understand a word of English when we first checked in and tried to upcharge for everything (day use room wasn’t $80, actually $130 suddenly). The gym was closed on a Sunday even though it’s just a room with a door that can be unlocked. Towels were missing from the room and two calls to the front desk didn’t procure them. Beds were comfortable enough but definitely not anything luxurious. But way way too expensive for what it was. Surprisingly, the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. Very good dinner there.

I stayed only one night, and I had an important meeting in town. Ms. Oging at the front desk was always fast to assist, provide any information I needed, and even managed to get my suit ironed with zero notice. I had forgotten my cufflinks, and the porter found a place for me to get some quickly. The service at this location was excellent. Without the well above average service this would just be another hotel, but the staff made it a memorable, pleasant experience and as long as they are there this will be my hotel of choice for all future visits.
