Attention to detail in the room was poor; a curtain had links missing to the rail allowing in street-light, bright corridor lights shining under the room door, a terrifically bright 'exit' light illuminated the entire room at night, shower water flooding the bathroom floor due to an ill-fitting screen, not a single iron nore ironing-board within the hotel for loan, heavily stained bedroom carpets, 'scum' ring stain around the pool, yellowing bath surround and partly detached bath panel. Wonderful views out to sea and a relaxed location close to lovely restaurants and intimate sandy beaches. Perfectly located to take tram line #1 along the river to the main tourist area by the port houses. The hotel's atmosphere was nicely non-corporate and 'sea-sidey'. The roof terrace is a lovely relaxed and peaceful spot to take a book in the day or drink in the evening. Air-con was quiet relative to similar experiences and the room experienced very little external noise through the night - peaceful even. The gym is modestly but reasonably equipped with decent gear and never busy.

This place was stunning. I loved the view & I loved the atmosphere. The pool is open until 00:00, the pool is not heated but it did not stop me from swimming in it (it was 9 degrees celsius). The bartended was so nice & made the best mojito I have ever had in my life. So fresh! Breakfast selections were amazing & so yuummyy! Definitely will be back next year!

Stayed here for two nights, in between Airbnbs. Great location and nice rooftop pool with a view but the mattress was horrible, worst I’ve ever slept on. While vacationing I want good sleep and that wasn’t the case while staying here. The hotel is walking distance from great restaurants and the beach but outside the lobby we’ve encountered a few questionable people, which made us feel uneasy at night. Would not stay here again because of the beds. Definitely overpriced for the quality.

Great place to stay. Okay, the hotel has no restaurant. The place is a bit noisy (cobbble stones, directly in the flight path from/to Porto airport, renovation project next door). But tcities are noisy and the hotel has helpful staff, great rooftop bar, super swimming pool, and really comfy beds). We wanted a holiday flat, none available, so this was a super alternative
