The hotel location was really good, as we were doing day trips and wanted something close to rail & bus stations which it certainly was. However the hotel is within easy walking distance of the main sites in the city and close to restaurants/bars etc. Reception staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good and the staff very pleasant. Room was a bit tired looking, but comfortable and clean. The big question is always, would you stay here again - definitely yes!!

Great hotel. Friendly staff is what sets this hotel apart. Front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff were all friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is a good with great coffee and cappuccinos. Location of hotel is great too. It’s a next central Florence, and a really short walk from train station. Room was nice. A little cramped for our family of four, but for just sleeping, it was fine. If you want a room to hang out in, it’s probably a little small. But why would you want to sit in a hotel room if you’re in Florence?

We stayed at Hotel Boccaccio one night in September 2023. The staff was super friendly; Elvi was great. It has a very convenient location; we walked everywhere. The breakfast was amazing; set up like a coffee shop with a great variety of food.
