This is located in a great neighborhood. Vibrant dinner crowd just down the street. For long visits it is a bit cramped, all of the electrical outlets are used so setting up a charge station is tough, we used the bidet as a station, lol😂. Very clean, NO bed bugs, we check every room we stay in. They did not have breakfast available but lots of pastry shops near by. It was a good price for us, most other places in Florence were too expensive. If mgt reads this, it would be great to update all the rooms with USB charging. In the US, hotels have added bedside lamps each with a couple of USB ports. Front desk did provide a water kettle but the only outlet that it would plug into is used by the mini fridge.

the location of the hotel was great- everything is very walkable and there are grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. close by. the front desk staff is very helpful in clarifying any confusion you have about getting around in the Florence. they also called taxis for us which was a big help!

I reserved the hotel for four days. Hotel assigned a room in the basement with no ventilation and I was unable to breathe properly and felt suffocated. Hotel assigned a new room on second floor. The following day I was about to head out for a tour in Florence but was told to wind up and keep my luggage in the lobby and that they would assign a new room on the fourth floor in the evening. I wasted my time and hurried up to wind my stuff and baggage and left it by the reception desk. Came back at the hotel at 9:30 p.m. only to find out that they only have the room in the basement left out. All the other rooms are booked. We cancelled our reservation and spent an hour and a half to book a new hotel. It is already 11:00 p.m. and I am writing this review from the new hotel. I got bitten by mosquito at the hotel. Utterly tired and have an early morning train to catch. On the first day the grandfather lied, on the second day the father lied and on the third day evening the son lied. Bunch of crooks with no business ethics. Would never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Avoid the only room at the basement at any cost. Suffocating and poorly ventilated.

I had a lovely stay, we got greeted by the woman at reception straight away and kindly directed to our room. The air con was v good in the room at night although it was a little loud. It was a simple room and perfect for us to stay in for 2 nights. The breakfast was amazing as there were many different things to eat. All in all, it was a warm and welcoming place!
