I last stayed in this hotel in 2007 and the experience was great ! Keeping that memory in mind, I booked the same hotel after almost 16 years. I could find a visible downward trend both in terms of infrastructure and service. It is surely not what it was more than a decade back. Quality of food has also deteriorated and I was among the very few customers staying at that time in the hotel, due to which even the breakfast buffet was not available. Special mention of Mr Sambath from the front office who was always very helpful and also caring, knowing that I belong to a different country. His guidance during various times was very helpful and really appreciated. On the other hand there was another lady at the front office who was pretty rude and uncooperative. Client facing staffs like her need some serious training on dealing with customers, else it will only reflect badly on the hotel. Overall, staffs were pretty good except that lady. The hotel was so impressive on all fronts in 2007, but unfortunately this time the experience was totally different. Things do change within a decade and half !

Great location, decent food, good service, but the rooms are extremely dated. It's a good hotel for the price but unfortunately, it's stuck in a time warp as it hasn't had a face-lift for over 20 years.
