We had a good day at the hotel, and he was a summary: The hotel location is really ideal downtown and closer to restaurants, café, shopping and touristic locations. The rooms are clean and basic. we stayed first night in king bedroom which had 3 stairs to access washroom and was on the second floor so we heard the noise coming from restaurants downstairs. We talked to the customer service, and they kindly changed our room in the second night and upgraded us to meet in the third floor, which was very nice, had no stairs and quiet . Service was great and staff are friendly. Complementary breakfast with a simple pastry, tea, and coffee machine . However, there is no kettle to boil water for the tea so you can’t make tea technically. However the breakfast room is nice and has good internet if you wanna do some work using your laptop. Prices are affordable for the area. I recommend staying in the hotel mainly third floor suites.

Lovely hotel. Basics, but that all you need. Restaurant right beside it was 5 star. Then there is a cafe outside of the hotel which has very healthy options, I got a smoothie in a bowl. Hotel, room was more than adequate, large wardrobe and bathroom. Very clean. Mini fridge in room. Everything was comfortable. Room did not have a comfortable chair to sit in only a desk chair and the bed. There were 2 steps down to the room from the bathroom, I didn't like that for accessibility reasons. ( I have a cane) In room coffee maker but no services in the lobby. A tea coffee or hot wat are in the lobby would have bumped up my experience . Overall great locations, easy access, rent a bicycle across the street. Friendly staff. Two thumbs up.

We had an interesting stay at Hotel Chez Swann that started badly, but ended up being good. First, let’s start with the location. Can’t really beat it if you’re planning your stay around downtown. There were a few things that we discovered in the first day we stayed there that almost made us find a new place to stay. The water pressure was nonexistent and the television had no sound. The floorboards creaked pretty loudly to where we could hear when our neighbors took each step. We were pretty tired so we didn’t make a big fuss. Things got better the day after as the water pressure came back. The staff was nice and did their best to be courteous while providing personal space. The layout of the rooms are rather…unique. There’s a velvet curtain that separates the shower from the room. The curtain is inside the room. So…if you’re looking for a show as part of your experience this is the place for you. Light bites are included during breakfast hours. Because they don’t have a kitchen they provide simples drinks, pastries and cereal. No complaints, but there are plenty of breakfast options close by if you’re looking for something more substantial. Overall, setting up our base of operations here made it really convenient to get around as it’s in a really centralized location and that ALMOST makes up for the other issues. Come here for the location. Look for other options if you’re a light sleeper or need privacy.

Despite the mixed reviews, we stayed at this hotel and we loved it. Friendly greeting upon arrival, we parked at the hotel next door, the access door is literally 20 feet away. The 3rd floor suite was large, no foul odor, beautiful black hardwood floors, huge comfy king size bed. And the bathroom, HUGE shower for two. There was a free breakfast included but we didn't get out of bed in time for it. All in all it was a great option and we would definitely stay here again.
