The reviews are in 2 camps and it's clear why - the older experiences just do not line up with the new. The hotel at some point must have had a refurb and possibly a staff turnover because we found them faultless. Very helpful, very good English from all staff to help make up for our poor french! Room was clean and modernised (save an outdated door) but all in all this hotel is a very good experience in a very convenient location. Also if you have read the review about the 4am taxi, we too had to get an early taxi at 3.15am, the gentleman on the desk had the door open and came out for his break while we waited for the taxi. We felt very safe and were grateful. We will hopefully visit again, thank you to all the staff!

Room was clean and had air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helped answer questions I had about Paris. Hotel is right next to a metro station for easy access to anywhere. Only downsides are that single rooms do not have safety deposit boxes, breakfast was a bit limited but did the job

Compared to past reviews, I think the hotel has been somewhat redone. My room was decent - it was clean and the bathroom had new fixtures and tiles. The room was a bit small and could have used a place to hang a jacket or some clothes, but otherwise it was good. The bed and pillow was firm. Everyone I encountered at reception were very friendly. Hotels in Paris are getting really expensive, so this one was about what I’d expect for the price.

The bed is comfortable, location is good but keep reading… The property has nearby a place were street people are staying on the street at 30+ meters. In our last day when we left, the reception guy let is out to wait for taxi at 4Am and locked the doors behind us. We found that suspicious, and for good reason… he knew bad people are out there and told us nothing… we almost got robbed… thanks for uber driver who helped us out but almost too late! Be aware that the hotel position is good but is just at the middle, left part is good, right part is part with low life people. Take care!

This was a lovely hotel for a cheaper 2 night stay. The rooms & bathroom have been recently renovated and everything was clean, plus the rooms are larger than usually in Parisian hotels. The only downside is that the doors / walls are not very well isolated so when someone speaks in front of the room or takes a shower you’ll hear it and it was a bit funny we had to give our keycards to reception each time we left & pick them up again, also, they don’t allow any external visitors. Wouldn’t be a dealbreaker for my next stay though.
