Wi-Fi barely works and only when it wants to. The signal got a little scratchy and in the bathroom it completely fell off. In other words, no 4g or 5g. The lady at the reception desk on the day shift is not very friendly, but the guy on the night shift and the afternoon maid are very friendly. My room is 105, it is very small but it accommodates a couple. The window overlooks a cement hole that is full of rubbish (someone could climb out the window and clean it) and there are some problems: the hairdryer doesn't work, the drain in the bathroom shower isn't capable of sucking up all the water that falls from the shower and It ends up spilling out of the shower door, wetting the entire bathroom floor. The room was cleaned in a hurry, the basics were ok but the mirrors were all dirty and had fingerprints. If you talk a little louder or laugh, the rooms on either side can hear you and vice versa. It's right on the breakfast floor so if you don't want to wake up to the noise of plates slamming and chairs dragging it's ok. Don't expect a top breakfast because it matches the daily price. But they have good filtered black coffee, French bread, cheese, ham, mortadella, couscous. The omelette I found a little strange, it seemed to not be fully cooked. Rating 6/10.

A few years ago, I used to stay at Columbia every time I went to São Paulo. The geographical location is excellent, as it is in a central area, close to many of the city's tourist attractions and the price has always been great. However, after not going for a good few years, I was there last weekend and I was very upset about some things. Cracolândia has now moved to a street very close to the hotel and walking in the area (especially when it gets dark), no way: EXTREMELY dangerous! I stayed in a room whose air conditioning was extremely dirty, with the front grille caked with dust: it was disgusting. There was an unbearable smell of cigarettes constantly coming into the room and because of the extremely thin walls, I faced a lot of noise from neighbors from another room nearby, who screamed late at night, as well as at 6 in the morning. Wi-Fi signal was very poor, it took a long time to load anything on the Internet. TV lost sound all the time too. The breakfast also took a drastic decline compared to the other years I was there. My husband ate stale mortadella on one of the days of our stay. Anyway, a shame... I left there very sad, because I know I will never go back, considering such conditions. I hope someday it gets better again. 🙏🏻

The rooms have good beds, but the pillows are very bad. The breakfast has little variety, in other hotels in the region there is much more variety, apart from the fact that some things seem to be old, from other days, like the bread for example, some cakes are very good and others are a little bad. The value of the snacks is reasonable compared to the snack bars nearby. The service is very good. The location makes shopping in Brás and 25 de Março much easier.
