On the positive side, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly. The hotel is very well-located. There are many lovely restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay overall and would consider visiting again. Some issues to take note of: the walls are paper thin. It sounds more like you're camping next to your neighbour in a tent than being separated by walls. We struggled to sleep so had to use earplugs. The WiFi is so weak to the point of being almost unusable. On two mornings our water was switched off for no reason with no warning. Luckily it could be rectified, but we were disappointed at the lack of communication or explanation.

For a 2 star hotel this was a very good place to stay. Very well located, extremely clean, friendly staff and an elevator. The immediate location has many bars and restaurants filled with locals which was great, but it is also close to tourist attractions. The room itself was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. No frills, tiny room but fair for the price and we were happy with our stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel de la Cité Rougemont. All of the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as very near to the Metro, couple of small supermarkets and plenty of non touristy bistros. Our bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. It was also very quiet once the windows were shut. My only remark would be that the bathroom was a bit tired and could do with a new shower curtain and hairdryer. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Complimentary tea and coffee is available in the lobby. You could rent a bar fridge for 5 euros a day. I didn't because I prefer to dine out on vacation. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel and area were quiet. Numerous restaurants and shops nearby and about a 10 minute walk to the subway. My only negative was they served a cold buffet breakfast. They did bring fresh baked croissants to the table and my friend loved the breakfast. I prefer a hot breakfast or at least the option of fresh fruit. However, there's a wonderful cafe just around the corner Le Royal Bergere, literally minutes away. Their breakfast and dinner were wonderful. All in all I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again. A safer area of Paris 😊
