If you are planning a night in Positano, I recommend Dimora Fornillo. There are beautiful scenery and nice hosts.Thanks to Dimora Fornillo, I had a wonderful time in Positano. The room was big enough and also clean. The view from the balcony was fantastic. From this balcony you can see the beautiful sea and houses on the cliffs. At night there were so many stars filled the sky. The breakfast served in the garden was also excellent. The host was very friendly, and I was especially grateful for Franco's help. When I already tired from walking down many stairs, asked him if there was a way with few stairs. Then he willingly came to help me carry my luggage. I was so grateful, so I would like to say thank you once more. On check-out day, there was a bus problem. They helped me figure out how to get out of Positano. Franco helped us a lot to get on the bus, but eventually the bus stopped running and I had to rush to catch the ferry.(Off-season travelers should take ferry as they recommend.)

It is on the quiet side of Positano and honestly the walk into town can be short if you take the private beach but on the way home at night we didn’t want to and took the streets and it is a HIKE. We were completely dead so this is just a warning for people coming in. Two, please beware how many stairs you have to go down to the hotel itself. It’s about another 2-5 minutes down stairs before you even get there. Three, I wasn’t super impressed with the rooms. We had a pretty view but you can hear everything so bring ear plugs. The shower is TINY and there is no where to put any shampoo or soap in it. We also had hair all over the couch and pillows. I don’t think the price really matched what we actually got at this location.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Dimora Fornillo for our honeymoon. Our room had the most amazing view of the coastline and ocean, was walking distance to all of Positano, and had AC when the day got warm. The bed was super comfortable, and the morning breakfasts were perfect. We also can’t say enough about the hosts, and Andrea, our local guide who gave recommendations and helped booked sunset restaurants, transportation, and porters for our luggage. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for a perfect, romantic trip to the amalfi coast!

This hotel is amazing. To start the staff are unbelievably helpful and kind. The hotel itself is very majestic and beautiful, they have great views of the ocean and of Positano’s famous cliff sides. This hotel is located away from the main center and I found that to be quite relaxing, it is a short walk to the main part of town, but it is much less crowded and quieter. This hotel is located right between the restaurants and the beach so it is about the same walk to either one. There are a lot of steps but that comes with Positano. I can go on and on about how amazing our time was here, but I think you should just see for yourself. I hope to be back one day.
