If I could give this place a negative review I would. Staff were nice upon arrival. We checked in our room, found bed bugs and requested a new room. We then got a new room and our sheets had blood stains on the them. We barely slept and they refuse to refund us. The lady at the front desk was rude and incredibly disrespectful. Pay the extra money and go anywhere else. This hotel is dirty, disgusting, they don't clean and are disrespectful. Truly, don't waste your time or money with this hotel.

Lovely hotel and the room was great. I especially appreciated the help from the night clerk Adrian. My bag broke on the way to the hotel but the hotel did not have the parts I needed to fix it. Adrian was great - he brought parts from his home the next night so I could fix it. The bag works great again and I was able to travel on without having to buy a new bag. Thanks Adrian for going above and beyond! BTW The location was fine - just a bit of a walk to the centre of town.

Very nice experience, especially when we arrived in late night and asked for the last room available. Staff was very friendly and the bonus point is that they have valet parking. Parking is really a headache in this area, so this is really a holiday saver. Room is spacious and clean. Interior is nice and elegant. Bed is comfortable. Aircon is strong (however a little noisy). Breakfast is good (not many selections but has good coffee and pastries.) overall we are very happy with the stay of two nights. If not raining, breakfast in the garden is beautiful.

Have just returned from 4 nights in Florence where we stayed in this gorgeous little hotel. What great service from start to finish...Adrian was amazing as soon as we arrived.... thank you for being so welcoming!! Breakfast was perfect with a great selection, replenished frequently. Rooms were ideal, air conditioned and the beds were so comfy! We were really made to feel like this was our home and the staff could not do enough for us! Location was perfect - walking distance to all of the main attractions but situated at the end of a lovely quiet park/piazza. I would definitely recommend if you want authentic Italian and I will defintely be back. Thank you so much Hotel Donatello for a fantastic stay!!
