I had the best of times here. Got upgraded into a better room, the bed was super comfortable and everything worked properly. Special thanks to Johan at the front desk for being so kind, truly a remarkable experience. PS: dont forget to pay the tourist fee in cash, as with all Italian hotels, they dont take cards for that.

This hotel is clean, centrally located and the staff are nice but the four-star hotel rating really threw me off. The rooms are very basic, it is not what you’d expect of a four-star hotel. There is NO kettle, tea and coffee, water, minibar, bathroom amenities in the room. The blanket is a simple sheet. One of the two bedside lamps is broken. The fridge was not cold. The toilet seat cannot be lifted. We did not have hand towels and a bathmat the first day though that was remedied later. The room was US$240 and there were definitely similar offerings nearby at a lower price. Some reviewers said it depends on the room you get so FYI this room is Room 20.

The rooms in the hotel are very small & are smaller than they appear in the photos on booking.com. It’s surely not a 4-star restaurant as advertised. In the standard room, There is no telephone to contact the reception, no professional coffee machine(have to ask the waiter for getting a cappuccino), no kettle available even on request, no proper table in the room.

The room was small yes, but cozy, very clean, bathroom well illuminated, clean and with a nice shower. I loved the location, away from the busy centre but very well connected. Located a few steps from Tram stop Porta Maggiore. During my stay I was able to leave very early in the morning and return almost at midnight without concerns. Has very good, top quality restaurants around the corner!!!
