Everything was very nice about this hotel. The room was clean, modern and well equipped. We were on the 5th floor and yes the stairs were to be respected. Anna was over the top helpful as we needed her assistance in finding a motorcycle rental. Lots of food transportation options in the immediate area. Several locals stated the pizza place next door was the best, but we didn't try it in our short stay. Also, quiet at night with soundproofing and very comfortable bed!

It’s a lovely boutique hotel. The room was clean and well equipped with kettle, teabags and some biscuits. The staffs at the reception were very nice. Highly recommend to travellers without large suitcase (because there’s no lift).

I am only halfway through my stay, but I wanted to post this review before I forgot. Hotel Ernest has been absolutely lovely. The staff here are very friendly and they were extremely helpful when I needed to store my luggage due to an early arrival. They even made sure to have my room ready a few hours before check in. A few other pros: my room was immaculately clean when I arrived, the bed and bedding are very comfortable and the hotel in general is exceptionally quiet. It sometimes feels like I'm the only guest here (in a good way)! Also, the hotel is located only 2 or 3 blocks from Metro line 7, which has proven extremely convenient for exploring the city. Overall, an outstanding experience. I would certainly stay again the next time I'm in Paris.

We only stayed one night for a last minute booking. Both receptionists were really great and accommodating, especially the woman who helped us when we arrived. Good breakfast for a Paris hotel. Good location close to Gare du Nord station. We were on 6th floor with no lift, but that isn’t uncommon for old Parisian buildings. The TV had a good selection of channels. The room was neat and clean.
