Really nice room, with a comfortable bed and a decent shower. Not to mention amazing views from the 3rd floor windows. Only minor complaint was that A/C is quite weak (managed to get the room cool by 2am, so better than many in Italy). Staff was friendly and helpful. They have a late check-in (4pm) but have an efficient (and free) baggage storage system. Elevator was broken one morning, but didn't seem like a regular issue.

A last minute trip to Florence had us looking for a hotel near the train station and we selected Fiorita. Our room, #202, was a big, corner room, stylishly furnished with a view of the city. The balcony wrapped around the entire room... gorgeous! Great location with that old world character . Air conditioning very weak, but in October with the windows opened, it was fine. Don't know how it would be in the summer. Good breakfast included. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed 3 nights and we had everything we need. Big nice room, a wonderful breakfast and helpful staff. You are at the same time near the train station and near to important sights. Thank you.

If you're searching for a hotel near the train station that offers a departure from the typical tourist areas, along with clean and comfortable rooms and a satisfying breakfast, look no further than Hotel Florita. While it's true, as many have mentioned, that the elevator is small and requires ascending a few stairs to reach it, this characteristic is part of the historical charm of Italian buildings. Our group of 10 occupied three rooms, all of which were well-maintained, clean, and cozy. The air conditioners functioned well, and we never experienced any issues with water pressure or hot water. The only drawback we encountered was the staircase leading to the breakfast room, which could pose challenges for individuals with limited mobility. However, aside from this minor inconvenience, I can confidently recommend Hotel Florita to anyone seeking a conveniently located accommodation in Florence.
