Room clean, comfortable beds. Small, but it is Paris. Bathroom tiny but the shower was good. No fan in there, and can hear noises through the air vent (talking and music) but that stopped at night. We had a standing fan in our room. I was worried it would be noisy because of people outside, as there are people who sit outside the supermarket next door, but they moved away when it closed. Hotel very close to transport. We had a good stay for one night.

The hotelroom is not clean and smells very bad. In the bathroom you have black mould. Also the bath is very old and not like pictures online. A healthy stay is not possible in this hotel 🤢. Don‘t book this hotel !!

Absolutely fantastic location. Best place from which to explore. Central to almost everything. Entrance to metro with 50 meters. Rooms are small, but have everything you need. If you are here to experience Paris, you won't be spending much time in your room. A mini/bar fridge would be a good idea in the room.

Great location and proximity to the metro, the Les Halles train station, and most importantly the Lourve. Walking distance to most things you’ll want to see. Weirdly they SOMETIMES asked for our room key when we left, but not always (I’ve never had another hotel do this.) there didn’t seem to be any consistency as to when they asked either— sometimes in day time for housekeeping, and at night time for unknown reasons. When we came back we literally just asked for the key to the room (which was listed on the wall) and they gave it to us. Pretty sure anyone could just walk in and ask for a key, since they never asked our names after the initial check-in. As other reviews state, the rooms were kind of outdated, there were only 2 available outlets (and one was only through unplugging the itsy bitsy TV,) and there was no hot water. No, really— I ran the tap for 15 minutes and the closest I could get to “not freezing” was when I also had the sink on. Switching to warm water also immediately dropped the water pressure to almost nothing. Corridors are narrow and the stairwell is a spiral death trap (to which there is apparently a light switch which I only found after my first adventure) and as you’ll see in other reviews, the old elevator is big enough for two people OR one person with luggage. It was, however, nice and quiet. It may be OK for a night or two, but wouldn’t really recommend it for long term stays.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. While there is an elevator, it's very small and I preferred taking the stairs. However, the stairs are also quite narrow and winding so you have to take them carefully. The hotel is technically open 24 hours but they lock the exterior door at night so you have to ring or knock to get in. There's no air conditioning so you'll need to keep the windows open in the summer. However, this means that you'll get the noises from the busy nearby streets. Overall, it's an economical place to stay with friendly staff but be prepared for no A/C, street noises, and a narrow winding staircase.
