First, I'd like to say how friendly and helpful the staff is. Also, it's spotlessly clean, but could really do with a revamp. We'd booked a double room with twin beds for three nights; however, one of the beds was a foldaway, and nether felt stable nor comfortable. Basic furniture--the wardrobe was big enough, but we only had one draw. A shame the TV didn't have any English channels or Netflix either. The bathroom lighting was poor and the switch to turn on the hairdryer was out of reach. Plenty of clean towels though. A pretty good continental-style breakfast is included in the price. This, what I think is a family run hotel, has so much potential. Especially seeing that it's only about a 15/20 minute walk to the heart of the city.

We loved this hotel. So close to the train station so you can hop on & go anywhere. The room itself was great. Clean & plenty of space. Air conditioner was perfect & much needed in the heat. The breakfast they provide is great & plenty. Overall I would recommend this place !

Found certain members of staff, including the manager, to be very unfriendly, no warm, welcoming smiles just perfunctory services, almost as if they viewed guests & their needs as an annoyance. Lift broke down on the morning of our stay, my travelling companion has mobility issues but no support from staff was forthcoming, indeed I had to take him up some breakfast, no update on progress of repair left him facing being stranded in the room. Fortunately he managed with some great effort to negotiate the 26 steps from first floor to ground. Won't be staying here again, but then I'm sure that'll give the staff some inward pleasure.
