We stayed here on our honeymoon and our room faced the Kyoto tower! The hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely attentive to guests. We ate the breakfast buffet most mornings and indulged in the happy hour in the granvia lounge-both of which were amazing and had plenty of western and Japanese food/drink options. Proximity to Kyoto station made day trips to Osaka and nearby areas very easy. Pool and Gym were small but sufficient. Loved our time here and would definitely recommend staying here! We will most definitely be back!

This is the best service you will ever find, great staff, and accommodations. They will do anything to make you stay perfect. A wonderful hotel, it’s humongous it’s like a city. Stayed here during the winter they should heat up the hallways and the breakfast room a little bit more. Deserves five stars as it is, would definitely stay here again.

You can’t beat the location, especially for a luxury hotel. Right off the train station. Just a few meters from beautiful shopping and great restaurants. Incredible walkability. I can’t imagine there being a better hotel in Japan than this. We were traveling with our four adult children and everybody loved it. There were so many room amenities. We couldn’t believe it. You won’t need to bring a toothbrush , robe , slippers or even a hairbrush… It’s all in the rooms. Mini fridge and coffee too. And of the three hotels we used in Japan , this was the largest amount of room space. The only thing that lacked was drawers, so we had to live out of our suitcase. In fact, we didn’t have drawers in any of our hotels throughout Japan.

Really enjoyed my time at this hotel. Loved the location as I wanted to see as much of Japan as possible so it was great to basically be steps away from trains. Room was surprisingly quiet even though tracks can be see from nearby windows. Staff was so helpful and pleasant and even made sure that a seafood allergy was well looked after with proper precautions. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in a hallway, that I personally blamed on a non compliant guest rather than staff. All is all, if you’re looking for a place to stay that’s integrated into a station, pick this one!
