Room is nice and clean. Location is great and convenient . However, the shower pressure is very low. You can hardly adjust the water temperature. It’s either too hot or too cold. To me, a nice shower is very important… In view of this, I may not come back to this hotel again…

Reception staff forgot to get my payment when I checked in, and later the staff called me at 23:30 when I had already slept!!! Moreover, they asked me to pay 1,000 baht more than the price in agoda, and I had to tell them that the price was wrong, and they said their system were wrong without any apology. I will not stay here again although I loved this hotel when I visited Japan.

Room was quite clean and quiet at night which I was able to get a good rest. Plenty of Japanese restaurant around the hotel and most importantly a BTS station mins away from the hotel. JAL guests can access the pool at the Nikko hotel next door. I do notice some dust upon arrival but will definitely return as the location is prime and had an enjoyable stay.

Pros: The location of “Hotel JAL City Bangkok” is very close to BTS and the famous snack shop Mar Varee. The hotel is quiet, enough hot water when you want to take a bath. And they have efficient service. Cons: However it just new opened on July 2023, some of amenities like hair dryer are obviously old. The room has low ceiling which might be not so friendly to tall people. The shower curtain in the bathroom may reduce the lights. They don’t provide slippers. Because the hotel is quite new, some drivers might not know where the place is. If you want to call a taxi to the hotel, you’d better tell the driver go to “Hotel Nikko”.
