Stayed for 4 nights. Overall 4 stars. Rooms are old, they have carpet floors and bathrooms are old and a little small. Service is excellent. Alexis, the concierge during our stay, booked great restaurants for us, and assisted the family on our stay in every way. Breakfast is great, and service at the breakfast is perfect as well. (They accommodated gluten free and lactose alergies perfectly for us). If the rooms were renovated, it would have been perfect.

I cannot in good conscience recommend Hotel Juana to others, because the way we were treated by the hotel staff, primarily the concierges, was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. On the first night, I booked a massage for the following day, and my husband was with me when I made the booking. The concierge, a female, asked if we would like to do a couples massage, and we said no - it would just be me. However, I guess the concierge did not understand, because she booked us for two massages back to back, which we were unaware of until several hours after I had gotten my massage, when I get a nasty call from the concierge, saying they're going to charge me 120 euros for my husband's no-show appointment. I tell him there has been a miscommunication, and that we told the woman it would be just me, and there was no mention when booking of my husband coming along. I told him to check with the other male who had been present, Benjamin, as he should know that we only booked an appointment for me. The concierge was not nice and said he would see what he could find out. Then, later that day, Benjamin comes and accosts us at the pool in front of everyone, and says we booked two massages that we need to pay for. It was very tacky, and it did not feel like a 5 star hotel. The concierges were jerks, and we tried to be the better person by agreeing to pay the charges just so they would stop calling and bothering us about it, but it was very unprofessional and downright disappointing for how much we were paying per night to stay there. The only perk was their sister hotel, Belle Rives, being so lovely and right on the beach, so we were walking there all the time. I would say don't waste your time with the nasty staff at Hotel Juana and just go right with their sister hotel Belle Rives.

Super fun, vibey little hotel. The older aspects (e.g. the elevator and some of the decor) are so beautiful, like historical artifacts. The connected restaurant, Paseo, is energetic and cool — decorated in all pink and colorful patterns — and the staff are friendly. The service needs a bit of work… for example, there are no pool attendants to bring drinks / light bites (something that stood out from a typical 5-star hotel experience). The pool itself was beautiful though, architecturally. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay here. :)

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Juana. All the staff were amiable and willing to assist. This hotel is older, and the rooms resemble its charm. With that said some weird quirks apply to the room, such as my bath/shower not having a curtain, and every time I shower, it means soaking the entire bathroom. Besides this, the turndown service was excellent, and I would happily return on my next trip.
