This hotel is awful. The toilets don’t work and there is no water pressure in the sink or showers. The hotel is filled with mosquitoes and the staff do nothing about it. The rooms smell like mildew and are damp and make all of your belongings smell. The rooms aren’t cleaned before entering and they only give you one towel. There is absolutely no security and anyone can just walk into the hotel. They also make you pay extra when you arrive. Do not stay here!!!

Such a nice hotel in Playa Del Carmen. Staff is very friendly. Natalia was great. She helped with everything we needed. Room is unique, sexy and comfortable. Rooftop is such a vibe! Loved the Open Bar on beers

Placed has a lot of potential but is over priced and poorly managed, we got there late at night and from the moment we walked in place smelled weird & there was no AC, the receptionist was playing on his phone while talking to us the whole time. They charge $300 pesos per night extra at the moment you check in so I’ll suggest pay those extra $$ for a better place from the moment you are booking your trip (yes our booking website mentioned that & per the pictures we thought it was worth the try) plus another $100 pesos per day for parking, which other places offer that for FREE. The first room we were given the AC was not working, we asked them to switch the room, the second one had the same issue no AC and a electrical problem cover with a paper 🫠, and in the 3rd room it did worked but the door got stock every time. Place is not clean at all. Sheets and towels look old, we didn’t even try/trust the breakfast and open bar offered, luckily we were there for two days I don’t think we could do it for any longer than that.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Unless you’re okay with horrible smell, cockroaches and other bugs on your bed, bats flying around you at night at close proximity, the bats screeching loudly while you sleep and if you’re in a hostel room get used to seeing the beds of guests that obviously left a long time ago unmade for days until the new guest arrives and they will only make the beds they think the guest will be staying in. There are six beds in my dormitory and three of them were not made when I got here and did not get made for two days, that’s how terrible the housekeeping situation is. They obviously don’t care to keep things clean around here. Hot shower water only becomes lukewarm for a moment after it’s about to go super cold and the hot water doesn’t even last long. Bathroom door handle broke when I was inside and if the new guest hadn’t been in the room I don’t think anyone would have herd me calling for help (because of the loud music that plays all day) and I would have probably stayed locked in for a long time… hoping the cleaning crew or a new guest arrives. Also the floor boards are loose and if I was any heavier I could’ve potentially put my foot through several of them.

Don‘t come here. By arrival, they charged me extra 300 pesos per head per night on top of what I paid already online, and claimed it says it in the mail somewhere its some hotel tax apparently. Small written somewhere. Sure. But even at the reception it only says „hotel tax 300“ nothing else. When I booked online I literally asked for a quiet room. It was so loud I heard all night some live band singing rock music until 1am next door. And this was in October, not even high season 😂 The room itself wasnt bad, but that was it. As soon as I walked out in the hallway it smelled like piss, not sure if its cat piss cos its pretty open everywhere or if its the canalisation. Anyways you can get way better deals for that price somewhere else.
