Friendly staff; nice breakfast, but more hot food options would be good; nice location, next to two Metros; a little bit pricy; we booked this hotel online. Website said all taxes are included, but we were asked to pay the city tax. Small gym and a nice sauna, but the shower in the sauna changing room didn't work. The place must have gone through renovation recently. The decor is very nice. Very clean rooms and nice comfy beds. We stayed for four days. Towels were not replaced, and we were using the same towels for 4 days. Coffee machine is the bonus

Traveling among cities in Europe is never easy, and doubly so in extreme heat and with heavy luggage. Coming to Paris, we desperately needed an affordable, but high quality option to seek rest and relaxation. We booked Le Hotel Mareuil to meet our needs based on great reviews and it’s impeccable location. After traveling in the heat and lugging our items from a crowded train, we were delighted to find a comfortable and clean room with great air conditioning, a thoroughly clean bathroom, and incredibly soft beds and pillows. However, the greatest asset of this incredible hotel is its employees. From the concierge desk, to the cleaning staff, we were always greeted with kindness and great concern for our needs as guests. We had incredible interactions with everyone there and will fondly remember our time there. Thank you to everyone for making our first ever trip to Paris an unforgettable one. My husband and I got to spend 5 nights at Hotel Le Mareuil in the beginning of July following a business trip in Amsterdam. We were hoping to have a restorative, romantic few days after a couple stressful months. Le Mareuil could not have been better for this objective. This incredibly charming hotel gave us the best Paris has to offer. The room was extremely comfortable and cute, the bed gave us the best sleep of our lives. You'd never know the craziness of the city was just around the corner. I've always been dismissive of a "continental breakfast" but the hotel provided an absolutely delicious selection every morning in a beautiful room. The staff could not have been more helpful and overall amazing to interact with. My husband speaks no French and my attempts aren't great but, apart from a bit of light teasing (which is just fun), every staff member was English fluent and happy to accommodate to ignorant tourists :). One evening I made a rather large (unrefundable) deposit to eat at a fancy restaurant and was horrified to learn I'd made it for the wrong restaurant in a completely different city. I went to the front desk in a panic and the situation was taken over by a very calm, collected and kind man who phoned the restaurant on my behalf and, after a bit of rapid French back and forth, got my deposit back. Amazing! All the suggestions provided by the thoughtful staff were great. We had a fantastic time in Paris and when we go back, we will definitely be staying here....and you should too!

We loved our leasure stay at the Hotel Le Mareuil. We booked it to be close to friends nearby and it was a great find. The hotel was clean, staff nice, beds comfy, bathroom up to par, room great sized, and close to some great spots! Wifi was always a plus. This staff really cared about us. Our uber that we had scheduled cancelled on us last minute and the front desk had a cab for us immediately. Same price. That meant a lot to us. They just wanted us to get to our flight safely and quickly. Couldn't ask for more. We didn't get the breakfast but it looked good! Wish we had longer time in Paris!

Great hotel with very friendly & helpful check-in staff. Very conveniently located within a couple of minutes walk from two Metro stations (Republique & Oberkampf) and close to many restaurants, bakeries & small supermarkets. Breakfast is not complimentary but there is free tea, coffee & hot chocolate throughout the day (in the ground floor) available for guests. The family interconnecting rooms are fantastic. The room sizes are very reasonable for Paris standards and the beds are very comfortable. There is a shower & toilet and a small fridge in each room with 2 complimentary bottles of water. The WiFi is stable and fast and the location is quiet. Highly recommended!
