Perfect location! Songshan Metro station is just 2 mins walk away and everything is near. Raohe market is just one cross away! Taipei 101 building is a 30 minute walk away! For tourists, money exchange banks are just 2-3 mins walk away from the hotel. Rooms are very neatly managed by the staff, just one issue here is the language barrier cause the staff does not understand English so any tourist reading this just use Google translator to translate into simple Chinese, it will work just fine. In short, a good place to stay for tourists!

Room very dirty.... overall the hotel all dirty....i can't express how dissapointed myself pick this hotel especially on my last days in taipei...make my memories of taipei really bad...so dissapointing

The location of this hotel was very very convenient. It was a 2 min walk to MRT Songshan and about a 3 min walk to Raohe Market and the Rainbow Bridge. That was a really huge perk! However the condition of the room was quite worn down and it had a stale smell. The towels and bedsheets also smelled like bleach so that wasn’t great. I did see the effort to make the room and bathroom clean and tidy, but yeah. We found some cockroaches, lots of dust on the tables, floor and bed frame, and also stains at random places. Yeahh, it’s 3 stars for me! Would recommend coming here if you’re on a budget, and only need a place to shower and sleep at night! Enjoy! :)

Staff is a mixed bag. I mostly remember the 阿姨 who prefers to argue with you, but there was a guy (30-40 maybe?) who was pretty friendly. Overall wouldn't recommend this place, I think even sleeping at a 7-Eleven or Macdonald's is less bad. Found two small cockroaches in my room (one alive, one dead), the lock was broken so they gave me another room for a night while they fix the original one, but that one has a broken toilet (it barely flushed at all, and the water level would rise first before flushing. Required 5-6 flushes to get rid of stuff). The cleaning lady told me not to flush toilet paper down, despite having a sign reading "no not flush anything APART from toilet paper" (in English even). I'm sure that would've smelt great... Eventually I got my old room back, but the bedsheets were not clean at all, and there was a weird smell (which was there before, but I mistakenly assumed you could just open the window for a bit and it's going to be fine). I eventually got a refund for the remaining days I've booked, but it took until the end of the month to arrive, and the owner took 500$ because I threw away the paper receipt she printed (it's a hotel, and I've ordered online so I have an email receipt...)
