Lovely hotel, reception staff are great, always happy, helpful and professional. Room 208 is extremely clean and fresh. Someone had put a lot of thought into designing the room. As plug sockets and everything was for once in the right places. Nice to have a kettle and tea/coffee/sugar. Shower/toilet all clean, lovely design, nice size shower and great pressure. Towels changed as requested. Overall, it was a great welcoming stay over the New Year celebrations. And will use again 👍

This is the third time visiting Paris staying to this amazing hotel. The facility is clean and spacious which is uncommon in Paris. The guys there are really polite and kind. Especially Shakirt (hopefully we pronounce it correctly :) ). Finally the people there were so kind to upgrade our reservation to superior room. We absolutely recommend this.

I stayed at Hotel Maison Axel when visiting Paris recently. The location of the hotel is fantastic, and as we came in in the Eurostar, it was only a 10 minute walk from the Gare Du Nord station. There are lots of bars and restaurants around so you’ll easily find something to eat and drink nearby. The hotel has clearly had a major refurbishment to a high standard, and I was very pleasantly surprised upon entering my room. It was very clean, featured bedrooms over two floors and also had a balcony. We didn’t stop for breakfast, but the hotel offered complimentary coffee in the lounge which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and efficient, on both check in and check out. Overall, I cannot fault the hotel for the quality and value for money, and if visiting Paris again I would certainly stay here.

Everything is fine with the hotel. The room is clean, the location is good and the staff is friendly. Supermarket, severals bars/cafés/restaurantsaround the corner. -1* because the room, especially the bathroom, is pretty small. Another -1* for the bathroom shower leaking heavily and thus flooding the whole bathroom (and sometimes even parts of the floor) with water. For that price I would expect a bit more and the shower has to be fixed.
