SUCH a good stay. Very impressed with just everything about this hotel. Location - central and close to public transport. Reception - secure and staffed 24/7 by ever so helpful and attentive staff. Room - we were luckily upgraded to a balcony room which was SUPERB; basic room facilities but all good for the price level so GREAT value for money. Room service - our hotel room was cleansed tidied and restocked every day. Very nice indeed Lacks - ability to make coffee (but this was known in advance); sufficient power points ( but we had a double adapter so it was fine). Surprise - a very useful lounge-table-spillout zone on the 3rd floor, with drinks-vending and a microwave; ability to leave luggage after checkout. All In All - this is just a fantastic hotel and we’ll not be bypassing it on future visits to BCN. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!!

I work for an airline so I take a lot of last min trips and book my hotel while I’m in flight. My trip to BCN landed me in the airport at 7 AM and by the time I cleared customs, found the AEROBÚS and rode into town, it was close to 9am. The entrance was a little sketchy. I walked into the hotel and was greeted warmly by their staff. They even allowed me to check in early which gave me a chance to take a nap before I went back out to explore the city. The check in clerk brought out a map and recommended places to visit when I checked in. He was so helpful and friendly. In fact, most of the staff was very friendly when I was there and willing to give you directions or answer your questions while you were there. The room was very no frills. I booked the room with a balcony and it overlooked Placa de Catalunya. My room was dated but very clean, quiet at night despite it facing a major street. The bathroom was a bit small but good enough for me (bear in mind, there rooms in the hotel where it’s more like a dorm and you will have to share a bathroom). There’s a room where there’s vending machines and a microwave where you can heat up your food but sadly, no fridge. The bed was a bit hard, but sightseeing makes you tired so you’ll sleep well regardless. Only complaint is that the heater in the room is a portable one and made some sort of strange noise that kept waking me up. The noise continued for about an hour even after I turned it off. Sadly, I had to check out a day early due to snow back in the States and I didn’t want to get stuck. But because this hotel was centrally located, it was a 3 min walk back to the AEROBÚS stop to the airport. For what I paid for the hotel, I would go back.

Terrible hotel. But good location. Very poor quality, all rooms DO NOT HAVE BATHROOMS! Poor service, WiFi does not work, reason “we had a fire three weeks ago”. Don’t know which part is worse, that they had a fire or it takes more than three weeks to fix something. AVOID hotel - $250 per night and NOT GOOD.
