Honestly, 1 hour for checking, the worst staff ever, I really don’t recommend Also walls in the hotel must be really thin because you can hear almost everything people are doing, even in the street And the breakfast isn’t that great either We did the Casa nova, and it was a million times much better Still 2 stars as the room was okay, and the swimming pool Don’t get trapped by the low costs, there is always a reason why it is cheaper than others

Be careful when checking in somewhat early. People reserve luggage storage “in advance”. We had to sit there for 5 hours waiting for the room.

Humble yet very efficient. All your basic needs are met. Comfortable and charming enough rooms, very friendly helpful staff, good breakfast and great location if you're looking for a downtown scene in the middle of Lapa and next to Santa Tereza. Excellent value even has a pretty nice little pool and sauna. Kudos for restaurating the historical building.

Rooms are clean and nice. For the area, the hotel is far superior to the surroundings. It is on the outskirts of the Lapa district. About 4-5 blocks away is the nice part of Lapa, so you have to walk through some more local or sketchy and quiet areas. Not my cup of tea. Across the street is a hardware store and market. There are two local corner restaurants that are open air for locals. Just be aware that at night and especially on weekends, be sure to take taxis to avoid any concerns.
