Customer service was great! Both of the receptionist were very nice and helpful!! The room that I had did have a missing light feature and the air conditioner did not work but the heater worked. Please keep in mind you will hear the train go by since it’s close to station. You won’t hear it unless you are in the bathroom. Lastly the T.V is not a smart tv and all of the channels are in French just a heads up!

Service is very very bad!!! The two bedroom deluxe king size room booked on the website was given a loft room on the top six floors on the first day of check-in, which did not match the room we booked. This room only had a bathtub without a standing shower and could not take a shower, and the curtains in the loft could not be used to cover the windows. The check-in time was around 6:15 pm. After feedback to the staff, they informed us that this was the last room, So we can only stay for a while. At that time, they said they would help us change rooms before 12:00 the next day. The next morning at 9 o'clock, we went to change and said it was too early and we would be replaced later. That day, when we returned to our room that night because we were out, we said there were no other rooms available for us. On the first evening, the second morning, and the second evening, we communicated three times with different staff members, but none of them were able to give us a positive feedback. Moreover, throughout the day, the hotel did not inform us of the progress of changing rooms via email or phone, and even when I asked the second and third person, they were all unaware. So the hotel has two main mistakes: first, they did not provide us with the room according to the website agreement, and second, the staff did not convey our demands during the shift change, which resulted in us having to stay in this room for two nights by mistake. Therefore, I must file a complaint.

I’ve been accommodated in this hotel for 2 nights with my wife and my baby daughter. I’ve had a great experience there. The room was really confortable and the breakfast was good. I recommend this place. Justine is a great receptionist. Thanks!

This hotel is a great finding. I loved the location, I think it’s unbeatable. The staff is super nice and friendly. At the moment of checking in we got a free room upgraded, so that was awesome. The installations are super nice and cute. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel though, so I cannot comment about it. We preferred to go out into the city for our meals. When we’re back in Paris we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hôtel Opal beyond exceeded my expectations. This uniquely designed boutique hotel in the Opéra/Madeleine area checked every box. The room was spacious, had large windows that opened to the street. Walking distance to many landmarks in all directions or a short walk to the Metro. Continental breakfast a spread of the classics and some hot food. What stood out were the people who worked there. Fantastic service they were courteous and beyond helpful. We were in a bind due to local strikes our trains were all canceled to the south. Quickly the reception made it possible to extend the stay. The price point (in March) was a steal for what you get. Highly recommend for anyone's stay in Paris.
