I didn’t take any photos, which I regret a lot. It was a good hotel to stay in. The service is really good, the location is perfect although, as other reviewers say, you should be careful when you walk around at night. The restaurant in the forth floor is also awesome. And I just wanna say thank you to a staff who recommended a one day tour. The tour was amazing and it was really fun to visit a coffee plantation, a volcano, a garden, and a waterfall near San José. She made my visit to Costa Rica much more wonderful. I appreciate it. I hope that this post will reach out to her.

This has been my 5 visit to Hotel Presidente whenever I come to San Jose I always stay here. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful they really make my stay so lovely and I think they are the hotels best asset. The location is perfect for visiting central San Jose and out going transportation to the rest of the country. The rooms are super clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The roof top bar and restaurant is lovely providing great views of the city. I will always return to this home from home in Costa Rica. Thank you so much to the staff

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is clean, staff are pleasant and it's in an area with many shops and conveniences. However, we really disliked their "No Guests Policy", which is why I cannot give it 5 stars. I understand not allowing overnight guests, but I don't think it's acceptable for a hotel to stop you from having guests in your room for a few hours. As long as you're not damaging the property or being too loud, I think hotels should let you enjoy the room that you paid for as you see fit without enforcing infantilizing policies. They inform you of this policy upon check-in, but at that point what choice do you have?

Summary, beautiful and clean hotel but not in the "best" area of San Jose. Such a beautiful hotel in perhaps not the best area of San Jose. During the day, VERY safe to walk around. Many police on almost every corner. However, at night fall, definitely take a taxi or drive. The hotel itself is very comfortable, well protected and safe. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the beds were made of clouds. There is not a bar person to hangout at, rather a restaurant associated with the hotel. Drinks and food can get expensive if eating multiple dinners. The complimentary buffet breakfast is FANTASTIC. I would recommend wandering during the day to the many Sodas and markets. There are no real "lounge" areas of the hotel besides the main lobby. This would be a hotel great for a night or two to spend sometime deep in the heart of the city. Staff were friendly, tolerated our bad Spanish well and gave great reccomendations.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a secure place to park our rental car in a busy city right at the hotel. The architecture is beautiful modern combined with embracing the industrial building it is in. A sweet oasis in a very busy city and minutes away from many cultural sites.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
