My mom, sister & I stayed for a week in July and we had a great experience at Hotel Saint Germain! The location is fantastic as it is walkable to all of Paris’s main attractions, but also far enough away that it feels more quaint and not touristy. The service at the front desk was always above & beyond. Jean Batiste and Andre were so helpful, accommodating and friendly - giving us recommendations, calling us cabs when needed, and helping with anything we needed. Highly recommend this hotel!

HSG is absolute perfection; the perfect blend of old-world charm and modern convenience. Staff consistently helpful and courteous, and the hotel is beautifully designed and scented. The street/block is quiet but active. I’ll stay nowhere else in Paris.

The room was ready early than expected, Friendly and helpful stuff, don't worry if you can't speak French, good location, bakerys and restaurants nearby, also Notre Dame, Metro , few min walking distance, they have a lift, personally I couldn't hear any noise as I was on the 5th floor, good experience!

Debating whether to give this hotel a 2 or 3 star rating. Ended giving it a 3 due to its cleanliness. 1) key system: each room has one key and in order to get out/in they require keys to be dropped/handed over at reception. Can be quite tedious especially when waiting in a queue of customers. 2) Room size: we paid for the second largest option, was still too small. Overpriced without any perks. 3) Hotel amenities: it has none. No gym, spa or courtyard. 4) breakfast option: standard continental breakfast. 5) location: in the heart of st germain but due to so many other competing hotel establishments I assess the location factor against them and they seemed superior in terms of amenities and room size. If you have to stay at a hotel and can’t find nowhere else to stay then st. germain will fulfil your needs. 3/5 - mediocre hotel with inflated pricing.
