The hotel was actually a welcome surprise. I had expected less given the pictures. But the hotel has been nicely renovated and was rather decent. Location wise it is an hour on foot from the city center but close by taxi and a bus goes there directly as well according to the reception. One thing they could easily improve: please replace all the little shampoo bottles and the jam plastic packaging by a more sustainable option like most of the ***** chains have done by now in Europe. It is not only more environmentally friendly but also less costly in the long run for the hotel.

It’s a quirky hotel but I really like it. It may be a little dated but there’s a genuine feel to the place(it is what it is). The rooms were spotless and breakfast for me was typical for Spanish hotels I’ve been to before and what I had was tasty. I was met by very nice staff who could be seen constantly cleaning. I also loved the walk from there to the town although I’m nearly sure there’s public transport right outside
