We really like this hotel - it’s not fancy nor modern but is spacious, comfortable and everything works. It is clean, has free parking, towels are good cotton, shower works well. The bed is comfortable, sheets are nice cotton. Windows open to allow fresh air in. There are plenty of outlets including in the bathroom. The location is So Quiet and very convenient to hop on the main road into town. Wifi is great - no issues. We can’t complain about anything. We typically stay in a more modern hotel however we would definitely return to this one when visiting the area.

The worst experience in our travel in Germany. Very small room very difficult to enter the hotel with luggage. No assistance have to slug, the luggage up a set of stairs to go to the lobby and then additional steps to get up to the room. Acceptable

Hotel Löwen is a really cozy little hotel for when you want to be away from all the City noises. It's located near the City but Far enough outside that you feel Like you're just in a little town in Germany. We payed 36€ per room due to us coming in a big group so I can't talk about the price when you're coming by yourself/in a family. The rooms were okay. Tbh, I actually liked them. Yes, they are a bit old fashioned but they do have a cozy feel to them. The beds were also nice and not too bad. The bathroom was definitely big enough, only the shower was a bit weird as they don't have any curtain or anything similar to keep the Water from spilling all over the floor so you just stand in a small corner trying to not let any water get out, Not too big of a problem though. The view was nice and cozy but nothing too special. I DO HAVE TO MENTION, there are more modern rooms. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures but some of us got very modern rooms which looked quite nice so maybe you ask to get one of those if you prefer. The service was kind and I was satisfied. The drive to the city is fairly easy too. You get on the Bus that arrives every 15 minutes or so and later on hop on the Tram to the City. Really easy and quite fast. We payed around 3-5€ for a 24h ticket for public transport. All in all I can really recommend the hotel Löwen and would come again :)
