Hotel is in great location. Good friendly staff but soon as you’ve checked in. You will face a very steep climb up to your room (be very careful going up and down with luggages). Our room is spacious for 4 people - decent view of the canal. Bathroom is newly renovated. On our last day the ceiling starts leaking and the ceiling tile fell off the floor. I’ve mentioned to the owner on checked out and he is just nodding 🙈. I love Amsterdam!

I'm not complaining because I've did some review of this hotel before booking it. But since it cost me around 2000 bucks for 5 nights, I'll share some of my experience with this hotel I had recently so that you can decide for yourself. 1. Yes, the stairs are very steep. I strongly think this hotel is not suitable for elderly people who has mobility difficulties. Unless you inform in advance to the hotel (with elders) so they can place you in rooms with easier access. No lifts. Photo attached. 2. There are also rooms in basement level as well. The room which they assigned me to is at Room 1 (at basement). It has window, of course, but not a very good one. :( Photo attached. 3. C'mon, dude. I didn't pay few thousand for a leaking room. You gotta be kidding me. Yes, this happened, fortunately, this happened during my last night in hotel. Photo attached. 4. My door was not locked after they clean my room. 😐 Although I got no evidence of this incident, I didnt raised this issue to the desk because I thought the cleaning lady forgot to do so. I found out about this when I was back to hotel from outing in afternoon. (Gotta be careful next time, Hotel Titus) On the positive side of this hotel, yes, this hotel is strategically located close to the heart of Amsterdam with close public transport and restaurants. The hotel staffs are hospitable and friendly as well.

Toilet door was partially broken / loose. Locations good Service friendly. Good if you just need a decent room and toilet.

Overall a pleasant stay , me and my friends booked 2 rooms one for couples on the first floor and the other one for 3 on the second floor . really liked the rooms ( the ones That were received idk about other rooms ) , it was clean , originized , staff were really kind and helpful . the location is really good across the street there is some bars , caffes and and stores . 2 mins walk from public transportation . the internet isn't the best but who cares not like you're going to stay in the hotel . overall i recommend for group of friends on budget .
