Great hotel. It all started with the owner and the stuff - kind, generous, helpful (with the luggage etc.). Then it came for the rooms. The hotel is completely renovated (2ys ago) and the apartments are super comfy and modern. The impression which has been left makes us to come again once in Friedrichshafen. I would strongly recommend Hotel Traube, not just for single travelers, but even for the families. Many thanks for your service.

was there for dinner only the food is a bit extra but very delicious. it starts with the presentation of the food which already gives you the impression that this is not your ordinary restaurant. also the variety of meals shows that. the food itself is very tasty and has lots of variety in taste. the prices might be higher than usual but since the restaurant is unusual, it is ok

It is a very nice and lovely location. During our stay we were serviced by a young, very unfriendly person in the breakfast area. Her behavior had absolutely nothing to do with service. She told us strictly how to behave, where to sit and that we should feel sorry for her because of her working load. My partner changed mind in terms of coffee order and she took it very unfriendly. She smashed the coffee can roughly onto the table. From a 4-star I require ways more in terms of service. The location and the infrastructure are good - so the lack in service is very bad for the whole business.

Our room was infested with spiders as you can see in the pictures, in total I removed 11 spiders, (species unknown) from our room in two days. They were in the curtains, we found one in our bath towels, one in the spa bag, the rest were in random places along the walls and ceiling. We had not kept the windows open, so we don't know how they got in there. Finding one or two would not be a big deal, but there were 11 in total. I went to reception to see about switching rooms, the man working the desk was pleasant enough while we explained, but he shrugged off our complaint and said sorry. Pressing further, he told us "No room change". He then left the reception area, and went to the bar and started bartending, leaving us standing there with no further explanation... Apparently in the evening they work double duties. Aside from the spiders, the room was clean and otherwise well presented. The massage we had was good enough, and the breakfast buffet was quite good as well. Breakfast service staff was quite efficient and friendly also. Underground parking can be problematic in the evenings as there were not enough spaces when we went to park. All in all, I would not come back. An alleged four star hotel that should not have arachnid issues that they force guests to deal with.
