        This hotel is amazing. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, the location is pretty much as good as it gets (right in the heart of the old town next to the ancient bridge that leads towards the palace) and almost all the staff were exceptionally professional. I haven't had a single bad experience here and the number of services that are offered by the hotel will keep you covered no matter what the problem you're having is. I honestly don't understand how or why I got my room as cheap as I did, perhaps it's because I'm travelling solo and the single room price is more affordable. My price includes breakfast also (7-10) and has filled me up at the start of the day and kept me going, happily, until lunch. I forgot my plug and was able to grab a converter from reception at no cost, just one of the many, many services offered here. It would have been five stars all round but I couldn't help but notice that the staff at the beginning of the week were far more pleasant than the staff at the end of the week. One server in particular seemed to take a disliking to me, I was left feeling like I had walked into the restaurant off the street and Im sure he didn't realize I was a guest at the hotel (not that it should matter) and perhaps my opinion is somehow comparative, as all the other staff had been exceptional, however, this particular guy just didn't want to deal with me. He was short with me, he didn't check on me during my meal (don't normally mind this but he did make a point of checking on OTHERS having their dinner in the restaurant) and when I asked about dessert he straight up told me that they didn't have what I wanted. Clearly he was unaware that I had been eating in the hotel restaurant, as a guest, every evening since I had arrived and was familiar with the menu and staff and services. Perhaps I misread his attitude and took it personally but as I said, comparatively speaking it was very noticeable and left me feeling unwelcome where I had otherwise had a very warm and inviting experience. This one server is the reason it's not 5* all round but don't let him tarnish your opinion of a top quality business. I would stay here again for sure.

        While the location is great it was impossible to sleep at night. There's been knocking and creaking coming from our ceiling all night. Not from the steet or the club. But right above our heads. And the staff has been unfriendly and unhelpful, refusing to even check for the source of the noise or do something about it. We needed a place to stay for the night and our upcoming day is ruined due as we have to spend it while sleep depraved.

        We went to the Ristorante charlies which I guess is part of the hotel too! Good food. it has variety and the service is nice. I recommend the soup and a big plate that has lots of meat I don’t remember the name but here’s a pic.

        HORRIBLE WAITER AND WE GOT SCAMMED! Since the moment we sat down, the waiters were pushing us and we felt like we had to rush. They were constantly coming to our table to ask if we were done while it was CLEAR that we were not done eating yet: it seemed they wanted us gone. They almost took our plates away. The waiters were so RUDE. I got the cosmopolitan cocktail and it was so small and the pasta as well: the portions were really small for this price. When we got the bill, we were FORCED to pay 12,5% tip, while it was mentioned on the bill that tip was an option. It was literally mentioned that tipping was a SUGGESTION! Why does this restaurant think it’s okay to FORCE customers to pay an insane amount of tip for this type of service. We are young girls on a budget and 12,5% was INSANE. I have never seen this much tip in my life and the way we were forced to pay this was just unimaginable. We are only here for three days and now one day is completely ruined. DON’T GO HERE!

        The hotel is kept nice with old Baroque style and good location, but no air-conditioning, no elevator and extremely noisy location. There is a disco place under neat open till 5 A.M. It's bustling street. Reception desk was not very friendly. We paid cash everything -the stay, the city tax and after leaving the hotel they charge us additional 10 euros through the card. We do not recommended it at all.
