No parking garage - must use valet service at $60 dollars a day. Charged an additional guest service fee on top of the room rate. After making it back to the hotel on a cold, my mom inquired at the front desk if there was anywhere close by that sold hot chocolate...the only option was a grocery store close by, so we said never mind! A short while later, a small cup of instant hot chocolate was sent to our room...it would have been a nice gesture from the front desk, but we were charged $12 for it! We didn't even ask for the room service.

We stayed here on NYE and our experience was mixed. We had read reviews about it being a great spot for watching fireworks, but new construction next door means you can no longer see the fireworks, which was disappointing but beyond the control of the hotel. Our initial service experience was pretty bad (front desk person and then a bartender at Geraldine’s who was incredibly rude). But the next day we had much better luck with folks at the front desk and our brunch server at Geraldine’s was so great. Our rooms were fine. Clean, comfortable beds, I liked the decor. The robes were pretty well worn, with fraying along the seams. The four of us had two rooms. A pool view king, which had the entire bathroom behind a barn door. And we also had a standard king which had the shower/toilet behind a door and the vanity was separate. I’m pretty sure the standard king room was bigger than the pool view. All in all, my guess is this is a great spot if you’re going to spend a lot of time on Rainey Street, but the service challenges would prevent me from recommending this property to any friends.

The hotel was great for my event I attend for the weekend, location was good for that. But there was construction and busy party street with loud noise at night. Especially Friday and Saturday until 2am. The hotel provides you with white noise machine BUT they don’t tell you until you check in. They should mention on website. The service and front desk were super helpful and knowledgeable thank you Victoria. The hotel is pretty expensive for having loud noise at night. They also have hidden fees that you don’t know about until you check in. I was there with an event and the “discount” was $259/night. But almost $50 hidden fee like Texas fee all added up to $306/night. Maybe if this was a resort. Overall beautiful hotel, nice service but loud noise at night and hidden fees for night stay. It worked for the purpose of attending an event but I wouldn’t stay here because of those reasons.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Having said that, their views have taken a hit due to the construction next door. I was also sorely disappointed that there were no personal touches despite saying this was a wedding anniversary special stay. Front desk person, while perfectly nice, had absolutely no idea about the rooms and hotel layout. He did not know this was booked with a special occasion mentioned even though the booking was made directly over the phone after conversing at length with front desk staff. We booked a Spa King. It was a spacious room and if you book with the hotel directly, there is a deal with $100 credit at Geraldine's + optional late check out + free valet. It was definitely worth it for the Geraldine's credit alone, their brunch is scrumptious! All in all, probably wouldn't stay again for a special occasion. There are plenty of better options for the same price downtown.

The construction of the surrounding building was everywhere but when finished I wouldn't have a single complaint, and neighbors under construction is out of the hotels control. Walking to Rainy street was fantastic, highly recommend a stay here for pleasure or business. We use the meeting room and it was great. The staff was cognizant of the construction noise and since I stay up late and sleep in they put me on the Rainy Street side of the hotel. No need to wait until the neighbors construction is done, go and ahead and stay at this hotel.
